Last short run of the week...

Another early start, I'm getting used to these! 5 miles later we were surprising relaxed when rounding the last corner, finishing in a mere 46 minutes. It looks like this training is starting to pay off! Looking forward to the 12 mile run this weekend, it should be a walk in the park... oh, let's not tempt fate again.

hey...where are you doing your long run on sunday? I'll be doing 10 miles in pheonix park with a pace of 9:15ish a mile

Not sure yet but it looks like Naas, that's where we've been training for the last few weeks. I love running in the Pheonix Park, I used to run there all the time. That's a healthy pace you've got, I think I'm pushing it at 9.45, I've got a more work to do to catch up with you!! Are you part of a club? I though about Donore Harriers, they're right beside the park.

no club for me....I am a loner....I love running on my own, even though I wouldn't mind some company for the long runs. maybe when we start the training for dublin marathon we could organise something

I used to run on my own always but now I find that when running with someone else the time flies by and my pace has improved (and I'm less likely to give up... which I have done on a few occasions). I was thinking of Donore because I ride a motorbike and I could park at the clubhouse and change. Looking forward to a few runs with you during the run up to Dublin, hopefully I'll be able to keep up with you then!
